Organizaciones Ciclistas de Euskadi (OCETA) and the cycling team Euskadi Murias have joined their forces to promote the use and development of the bicycle as a way of life. With the slogan ‘I also by bike! Live the bike!’  this campaign has been born in favor of life in this vehicle. This action will have the collaboration of dozens of Basque famous people from different areas.

The premise that has driven this campaign is based on the bicycle as the means of transport of the future because this vehicle is sustainable, economical and beneficial for the user’s health. In spite of the strong passion that Basque society has for cycling and the big use of bicycles, it is important to persist in the awareness and formation of citizens.

For this reason, this movement aims to gather the maximum number of basque influential personalities so that they will show their support for Basque cycling by carrying the slogan of this campaign. Among those who have already joined this action there are the composer Kepa Junkera, the football players of Athletic Aritz Aduriz and Kepa Arrizabalaga or former cyclits such Abraham Olano, Julián Gorospe and Marino Lejarreta.

Likewise, citizens will also have the opportunity to join this initiative. There will be an appeal for public to join this action by recording videos about the bicycle. Among the participants several prizes will be raffled, for example a bike of Euskadi-Murias Team.

The videos will be posted on social networks, specifically on the Bizi Bizikleta channel in Youtube, with the following hashtags: #GureTaldea #GureItzulia #GureKlasikoa

We want to appeal the basque citizens to join this action and remember ‘I also by bike! Live the bike!’.

You can find the information and all the videos in the website of Euskadi-Murias.
