The Tour of the Basque Country has released its new image this Friday, while the presentation of this 58th edition’s route.
This logo change aims to update the identity of the race and adapt it to the new times by using more visual and modern elements.
The inclusión of typography is the main novelty of the renewal symbol, that seeks to give prominence to race’s name. In this way, its name ‘Itzulia’ has become the core of the new logo.
Likewise, it is intended that the new logo reflects the identity of the race. To that end, its mountainous character has been depicted by some peak’s silhouette and the cut at the ‘i’ letters top.
Ultimately, the change to this symbol has wanted to reflect the values of the Itzulia in a new design with witch all the fans can feel identified.
